The INCENSE program (see www.sangath.com for details) is looking for a mid career professional for the lead coordinator position, based in Tezpur in Assam for a period of 3 years from April, 2011. The incumbent will need to provide leadership for the implementing and managing a multi sectoral program for people with severe mental disorders in close coordination with the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute Mental health (LGBRIMH). The position will need someone with excellent communication and project management skills, organizational abilities, ability to network with individuals and organizations, excellent computer skills and to manage the financial aspects of the program. Preference will be for candidates who have a master’s degree in social work or management background and experience in managing community programs and are able to travel; knowledge of Assamese is a desirable criteria. The successful incumbent will be provided with a consolidated salary of Rs. 30,000 pm and the appointment will be confirmed after a 3 month probation period.
